I'm Justine, a UX Designer who has worked with several clients on medical device software, with a background in health and biology.
My dream to impact lives led to design, where I discovered my passion to problem-solve creatively with a team. I love building solutions for people to use every day!
I am also inspired by the infectious energy of the startup dynamic - I am excited to build efficient systems and solutions with a diverse group of people!
For the past few years, I’ve worked for medical device startups. I've designed solutions ranging from patient intake to health result delivery, as well as accessible augmented reality mobile apps to digital marketing landing pages.
My background actually began with health - I got my biology degree from UCI. After dabbling in business operations and education (Kumon and piano), I realized I wanted to work with technology and user experience. Since then, I have shifted my career towards medical technology, where I can actively improve lives through design and human connection.
My design process is a flexible framework that adapts, evolves and responds to user needs and business requirements.
Before rolling up my sleeves to design a new feature, I like to ask what our users want to see and what advantages our products can offer.
I like to iterate based on the findings of usability tests. I like to test often and test early to get rid of potential roadblocks.
